Yes we can ship the gel fuel fireplaces to Canada. You can purchase the electric insert option as a great alternative to using gel fuel for most of our fireplace models. However, export regulations prevent us from shipping the gel fuel across the boarder. We will provide a link to purchase Canadian Approved gel fuel after you place your order. They ship anywhere in Canada.
A note about import duties, we have noticed on some of our larger models some customers have had to pay customs related duties on items which are beyond our control. We have not noticed this problem on any of our wall mounted gel fireplaces. We have includes some information below to assist you.
Most goods imported to Canada are subject to customs duties (imposed under the Customs Tariff) and the GST; both these are collected by Customs at the time of importation, and levied on the landed value of the goods. It is your responsibility to determine how much if any customs duties may apply to your purchase as any such cost are solely your responsibility.
Delivery Information and Shipping Time Estimates:
If you happen to select a fireplace that offers free shipping it only applies to deliveries within the 48 United States. Normal Canadian delivery charges apply to all purchases. Simply input your town, province, country and postal code in the order page then open you shipping options drop down box and select UPS-Canada then hit the apply button to get the correct shipping charges for your items. No worries you will not be charged or even actually place this order until the next screen where you confirm everything before submitting your order to us.
Most orders are processed with 2-3 business days and shipped with 1-2 business days from there. Typical delivery times to Canada lately have been around 4 business days. We will send you tracking information so you can see how your delivery is progressing.
